IP4MIAB-28-AD – Advanced Perimeter Protection + Active Deterrence IP Camera

Smart Dual Illuminators

The IP4MIAB-28-AD camera provides clear, colorful video down to 0.003 LUX before the IR turns on. When Intelligent Motion Detection (ID+) is triggered (a person or vehicle is detected) within a monitored zone, a built-in LED illuminator kicks on, providing a vivid and colorful image even in total darkness with a range of up to 98ft. By default, night-color technology will automatically adjust the exposure time and light sensitivity simultaneously to avoid overexposing objects in the center of your image.

Active Deterrence

The IP4MIAB-28-AD pairs advanced perimeter protection with active deterrence to alert unwanted visitors that they are in a monitored area during pre-scheduled times. With built-in red / blue alarm lights and speaker, the IP4MIAB-28-AD will trigger when a specific zone is entered by people, vehicles, or both.

Two Way Audio

The IP4MIAB-28-AD comes with two built-in microphones for capturing audio at higher quality and longer distances, and a speaker for playing per-recorded audio message or a warning siren for a set amount of time. It can be disabled with one click using the Optiview VMX-M mobile app or Optiview VMX video monitoring platform. Volume is controllable via the web interface.

Advanced Perimeter Protection

Depending on your application, you may choose to use the IR only (no white light LEDs), to use the white light LEDs full time for full color (stays on at night), or you may choose to switch between the two based on your Perimeter Protection rules.

With Advanced Perimeter Protection, the user can select a general monitoring area as well as a secondary monitoring area in which flashing red/blue lights will go off, sirens will sound, or audio will play.

Set around the perimeter of your home to provide active deterrence to unwanted visitors that approach your doors, windows, or driveways in the evening or early morning hours, or during regular working hours. No burglar will attempt to break into your home or vehicle with a siren going off!

COMMERCIAL

Install at customer or employee entrances and exits and schedule advanced perimeter protection + active deterrence for after-hours when the business is closed.

Commercial Grade Equipment

Built for endurance, this all metal housing is rated IP67, which means it is protected from water and dust. Mount this camera anywhere with it’s 3-axis cable management bracket. Additional junction boxes and brackets are available for additional installation options, and help further protect your cables and connections.

Advanced weather protection allows this camera to be installed in areas with temperatures that range as low as -40° F.

Wide Dynamic Range

The camera achieves vivid images, even in the most intense contrast lighting conditions, using industry-leading wide dynamic range (WDR) technology. For applications with both bright and low lighting conditions that change quickly, True WDR (120 dB) optimizes both the bright and dark areas of a scene at the same time to provide usable video.

Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR) Technology

When this camera is connected to a compatible NVR will automatically store video data on the internal memory card when the network is disconnected. After recovery to the network, the NVR automatically retrieves the video data stored on the camera.

Edge Recording

Enable edge recording with an optional memory slot expandable up to 256GB.

Smart H.265+

Smart H.265+ is the optimized implementation of the H.265 codec that uses a scene-adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structure and intelligent noise reduction to deliver high-quality video without straining the network. Smart H.265+ technology reduces bit rate and storage requirements by up to 70% when compared to H.265 video compression.
