Built-In Analytic Features

Optiview’s cameras and recorders come packed with professional-grade analytic features, such as AI smart search, intelligent motion detection, dewarp, ANR, and more. Read through the section below to learn about each one of these features. View the matrix charts to see which of Optiview’s high-quality IP security cameras and Network Video Recorders support which analytics features.

Fisheye Dewarping

Dewarp a 360° panoramic camera in real time or in playback giving you a much larger variety of views to choose from when live monitoring, or even after an event occurs. You have 9 modes to choose from, and the perspective of the camera can be adjusted for ceiling, wall, or countertop installation.

AI Smart Search

Advanced AI Smart Search allows the user to perform searches by either people or vehicle (or both), and to add additional filters such as vehicle type or color, shirt color, gender, and more.

Vehicle & Crowd Density

With a deep learning algorithm, the vehicle density feature analyzes vehicle situations in the image, such as vehicle numbers in a selected area. You can set a threshold to trigger a linkage on higher or lower parameters.

With a deep learning algorithm, the crowd density feature analyzes people quantity and density situations and can detect the crowd density on the image, and display it on a heat map; it can detect people quantity and density in the selected area and set a threshold. When the number or density is larger or smaller than the threshold, it triggers alarm.

Perimeter Protection

Combine multiple tripwire and intrusion IVS rules with object (people or vehicle) detection to enable advanced motion detection alarms and alerts. Ideal for crosswalks, parking lots, communities, lawns, schools, and more.

Real Time Face Recognition

Advanced facial attributes analysis can identify, capture and record people based on gender, age, expression, glasses, mustache, and face mask. With real time facial feature filtering, you can display faces with targeted features.

Optiview’s Facial Recognition device performances are dependent on the quality and clarity of faces uploaded into the internal database. The use of facial recognition devices with database(s) and image capture are intended for internal security and access control use only unless otherwise stated by the end-user.

Face Database Management

With access to configurable, multiple databases, this powerful face database can be applied to video channels independently. Name, gender, birthday, nationality, address, ID information can be added to each face picture.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Technology

Capture vehicle license plate images and recognize license plate numbers and letters with the ANPR feature. Being highly effective for traffic surveillance and parking lot monitoring, ANPR is effective for entrance and exit management.

This feature requires both an ANPR compatible camera and NVR and may require a license fee.

Active Deterrence

Active deterrence when paired with intelligent perimeter protection provides an active way of deterring unwanted intruders away from suspect areas. Each device has its own method of doing this, from two-talk, lights and alarms.

People Counting

Detect and track targets by using advanced image processing technology and our deep learning algorithm. You can draw up to 4 polygon areas, and count people in each area; When the number of the people in the area is greater than or equal to/lower than or equal to the defined threshold, the alarm will be triggered.

Heat Map

Heat map reporting allows you to see the number of people and average strand time for people in view. You can observe customer’s regions of interest from two aspects: number of people and time.

Tripwire & Intrusions

Setup custom tripwire and intrusion parameters that trigger alarms and send notifications when either a tripwire line is crossed or an intrusion space has been entered.

Built-In Features

Optiview’s cameras and recorders come packed with professional-grade features, such as ANR, WDR, Edge Recording, and more. Read through the sections below to learn about each of these features. View the matrix charts to see which of Optiview’s high-quality IP security cameras and Network Video Recorders support which features.

Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR) Technology

Network Video Recorders with the ANR function, when paired with an ANR compatible camera, automatically store video data on an IP camera’s memory card when the network is disconnected. After recovery of the network, the NVR then automatically retrieves the missing video data stored on the camera and updates its own backup.

Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)

Achieve vivid images, even in the most intense contrast lighting conditions, using industry-leading wide dynamic range (WDR) technology. For applications with both bright and low lighting conditions that change quickly, True WDR (120 dB) optimizes both the bright and dark areas of a scene at the same time to provide usable video.

Edge Recording

Edge-based recording allows the user to record video files directly to your memory card instead of an NVR, which reduces installation and hardware costs.

Edge recording can provide a cost-effective surveillance video storage system for smaller security systems. In addition to that, it provides flexibility, such as providing a back-up video storage method in case the network goes down and connection to the central NVR is lost. When connected with ANR, it also allows for automatic backup replenishment on the recorder.

Recording on the edge also allows for independent fixed or mobile surveillance systems to record in areas where a network connection is not readily available, such as a construction site, marina, parking facilities, and other remote areas.

Audio Options

A camera with a built-in mic helps give you even more protection than a traditional camera with still video.

A camera with a built-in speaker gives you the basics of active deterrence, allowing potential intruders a deterrent for ill perceived actions.

A camera that has both a built-in microphone and built-speaker has the powerful function of two way talk. When paired with intelligent motion detect, two way talk works as both an intercom system for doorbell cameras but also active deterrence warning potential intruders of their ill perceived actions.

Infrared Illumination

Cameras with Infrared technology are capable of producing a stunningly clear, colorful video with low illuminance enhancement for darker environments. In the darkest environments, on board IR illumination kicks in providing clear video captured in both day and night with high definition video output.

Video Compression

Smart H.265+ is the optimized implementation of the H.265 codec that uses a scene-adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structure and intelligent noise reduction to deliver high-quality video without straining the network. Smart H.265+ technology reduces bit rate and storage requirements by up to 70% when compared to standard H.265 video compression.

Commercial Grade Equipment

Our cameras are built for endurance, specifically for rugged outdoor and indoor environments. 99% of our cameras feature an all metal housing most being rated above IP67 some with even more protection with our Armor Domes being vandal proof. All Optiview bullet cameras come standard with 3-axis cable management bracket. Further protect your cables and connections with additional junction boxes and brackets.

Point of Sale (PoS)

PoS systems are ideal for grocery and retail stores, the optional POS solution allows the NVR to receive a POS transaction via corresponding video. This feature allows merchants to analyze specific transactions via the search algorithm.

Bandwidth

Bandwidth is the amount of data an IP camera can transmit per second. Optiview’s video recorders have a higher bandwidth throughput granting your IP network cameras to record at higher frame rates and resolutions without maxing out.

Auxilary Interfacing

Many of Optiview’s IP cameras come with additional built-in features such as: Alarm In, Alarm Out, Audio In, and Audio Out.

All of Optiview’s NVRs come with built-in PoE and alarm interfacing. Many of Optiview’s NVRs support additional features ePoE, eSata and Dual NIC.

Automatic Zoom Focusing Technology

Achieve continuous, high-precision focus during the entire zooming process. While your device zooms, the automatic focus technology analyzes different subject distances within the frame to achive clarity throughout the entire process. Every second counts with video surveillance and with more clarity no longer have frames out of focus.
